Dear participants,
As part of a needs assessment, Mannheim University Library is investigating what kinds of support researchers at the University of Mannheim require in the area of science communication and what role academic libraries can play in this context.
In the following, science communication refers to activities that communicate scholarly content to audiences outside academia or promote dialogue between science and society. In addition to traditional publications, this includes, for example, public lectures, interviews and articles in traditional media, social media activities, blogs, podcasts, events, and exhibitions.
The results of this survey are being collected and analyzed as part of a master’s thesis in the master's program Library and Information Science (MALIS) at TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences.
Participation is voluntary and anonymous. Completing the survey will take approximately 8–10 minutes.
Thank you very much for your participation.
